The definition of an archive is – “a place in which public records or other important documents are kept”.

In general, archives consist of records that have been selected for permanent or long-term preservation on grounds of their enduring cultural, historical, or evidentiary value.

People use archives to remember things after they happen.

The purpose of this Web Archive is to collect a digital record of the historic YMCA World Mission Network Conference that took place in June of 2014.

This was a place where God Met Us. So in this sense there is a far deeper spiritual reality than just an archive.   This YMCA World Mission Network Conference will be a standing stone of remembrance.

And tell them to take up twelve stones from the middle of the Jordan from right where the priests stood and to carry them over with you and put them down at the place where you stay tonight.”

In the future, when your children ask you, ‘What do these stones mean?’  tell them that the flow of the Jordan was cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord .

These stones are to be a memorial to the people of Israel forever.” Josh 4:3,6-7

The World Mission Network Archives will be a place of recording the “standing stones” of what God began to do in our midst in 2014 and will continue to do going forward.
